ssshhhh...baby is sleeping...

Look how cute when my baby is sleeping...ain't he just adorable? I always watch him when he goes to sleep to make sure if he is comfortable.

I just don't want him to grow up because I will surely miss him as he is today. I will treasure this memory of him until he grows up.

How time flies...time is limited so I don't want to miss every single moment with him.

@ 6 months!

When our baby boy was 6 months, he amazes us for at this stage he already knows how to control his hands. That is enough to pull an object towards him. He can grab a toy and starts moving it from one hand to another. He can sit without support and can crawl very fast. He began rolling over at 3 months and can even appreciate the color red. Whenever he sees a color red, he will touch and stare at it the whole time.
And imagine this, at only 6 months, our baby knows how to stand. Yes, he knows how to stand. That was the moment when I held both his hands and he starts standing without us realizing it.
He really amaze us!
We noticed that he develops rapidly at this stage. Can you imagine a baby can stand at 6 months? Pretty amazing isn't it?
His communication skills are expanding rapidly too, including squeals, babbling sounds and he even imitates us whenever we are shouting. He even knows how to say "mama" and "baba" over and over again.
And so when the time his tooth came out without us noticing it, he didn't feel any dreadful pain. He doesn't have any symptoms like a baby normally experience. Now, he likes to stand everyday whenever hes awake. He is a hyper yet energetic baby. He is mistakenly identified as a 1 year old at this stage because of how he rapidly develops.
People are amaze with our baby.
They say that we should be proud because he is a well develop baby, and as parents we are proud. He makes us laugh and melts our lives and brings us joy.

One month break-up

It was a crazy morning right after breakfast when suddenly my friend took this photo of us. This was actually the day we got back. Yes, we were separated for almost a month but that made us realize that we belong together.

Actually here's the story, we were separated for a month, yes, a month. Those were the days when couples realize that they needed space for them to grow up. It made us realize that before.

A little space will help a person grow. Its hard to grow when were close to someone. Remember that trees are planted far from each other so they can spread and mature. That is what happened to us, we gave each other space for us to grow and mature.

It was really a terrible break-up. There were no third parties involved, it was just a separation for us to see if we are meant for each other. And yes we did get back. After a month that day, he proposed and got married afterwords.

A simple surprise!

These three lovely roses was given to me last Oct. 8,2009. Our first anniversary. Yes, we finally reach our first. Unlike any other couples who would rather celebrate their first anniversary dining in a fancy restaurant mine was just unexpected.

I knew that it was our first anniversary but i didn't expected that my husband would surprise me. It was a surprise actually because right after his work, he was late and I was mad because he was never late before. Can you imagine, I nag because he was late? That was the first.

Until he reach for his jacket and got me three lovely roses. Its like he put the roses inside his jacket the whole time just to surprise me.

I was really surprise the whole time. He really made me happy that day. Why wouldn't you be happy if someone unexpected will surprise you? I know what you are thinking right now. You all think that it would be best to celebrate it in a most memorable way.

Well , Im a person who will be surprise at anything. Im also a person who will listen to your corniest jokes ever, in short Im just a simple person who likes simple things but that thought is sometimes misunderstood.

As what they always say, "Its the thought that counts".

Proud mama!

I'm so proud of myself this past few days because I have been waking up early and exercising a lot. I have to do this everyday to lose some pounds. I have been eating so much the past holidays and haven't been exercising.

I have to get the desired weight I had before. Its super easy gaining some pounds but hard and tough losing some...

My husband would also stop pampering me like a baby so that I wont be spoiled. I have become a couch potato because of him. It seems that he likes me getting pampered all the time. Every time he comes home from work, he would bring me snack like sweets and all those rich in calorie food.
I have no choice but to eat it. I cant resist temptation especially chocolates.

I have been thinking, if it keeps going on like this I would be an ugly and obnoxious woman for sure. I would love to see myself as healthy but being healthy is really hard especially if you have a desire and love for food.

I am becoming lazy all the time. I have to burn these fats in order for me to become a healthy person not just for myself but for my family also. I want to live clean and healthy for the people I love. These ugly fats should be trim and burn.

That's why Im waking up early and exercising a lot. I should stop living like this. I should love and embrace the right and healthy way of eating and living.

Father and son

"A father is a banker provided by nature". I find this quote interesting because we do know that a good and responsible father really is a good provider.

A father for me is an angel sent from heaven. An angel without wings but still guides you to the right direction. They are God's way of defending us and taking care of us.


A father always holds your hands and makes sure you do what your mother says. They let you eat candies and sweets when your mother is away. They are the ones who will always say that every things gonna be okay whenever you are sad.

A father always believes in your dreams. And help you achieve those dreams. They are the ones who will tell you can do anything you want because you are my child and im so proud of you.

I remember my father used to tell to all his friends that whenever I graduated college it doesn't matter anymore whether he dies. That is the painful part of me growing up because I never even graduated college but still he loved me without condition. I cry like a bucket of tears whenever I remember those lines my father said.

Its pretty tough being a father because they have to set good examples for their children. So, it is easy becoming a father but hard of being one.

Welcome to the christian world!

This photo was taken last Dec. 13, 2009. Where we welcome our little baby boy to the christian world. At last DJ is confirmed as a christian. We parents are so proud that our little boy made it this far. We actually made sure that we held it on december right before christmas so that it would be memorable.

These ladies are DJ's gorgeous godmothers, they are one of my closest friends also. I personally chose each one of them because I know they will make a good parents. Three girls at my right are 3 of my closest friends since highschool. And the one on the left side are 2 of my closest friends at work. 2 of DJ's godmothers couldn't make it but they were on the list.

This was taken outside the church with DJ's godfathers. Who are also my husband's officemates and closest friends. 3 other godfathers couldn't come but they were also on the list.


Yum yum yum!!! Time to eat. The one who actually prepared all these foods is my one and only husband, who also cooked and woke up at around 3 am just to prepare all these food. I have to say that not only hes a good husband but he is also a good chef. Cheers!


This cake was given to us by DJ's mamala and papalo - Grandparents. A simple yet delicious cake.

These are the gifts that DJ received. These gifts were given to him by his godparents. Thank you all for coming to DJ's christening.

We would like to thank all of you who were able to attend my son's christening and thank you so much for agreeing to be DJ's godparents. Not only you made my son so happy but it was an early christmas gift and it was really appreciated.
