A Sore toe

Its been a month now and its still swollen. Every time my toe will bump on to something it really hurts. I cant bare the pain and that's when I shouted. It is quite swollen on the inner side of the nail. Its like there's an infected-looking tissue that appeared to be growing from the inside.

I think I better take some antibiotics. I don't want to settle down with surgery. Its getting worst everyday. And its all so painful from the inside. I don't know if its an ingrown toenail or something else. The two big toes are very much different in size because my right toenail is bigger than my left toenail. So, I painted my nails with some red nail polish just to hide my big infected toenail.

As what Ive heard ingrown toenails are very common and might settle down without surgery. They suggested to take antibiotics and bathe the ingrown toenail in a lukewarm salty water. I will definitely try that one first to see if it really works. I have waited for months for this toenail to heal.

Thank god Im not wearing closed shoes cause if I do I would end up walking like a cripple.

Lazy morning

I feel sick today and got me a terrible tonsillitis. It was horrible. I cant speak very well and I feel very lazy and wanted to sleep the whole day, but I cant because I have a lot of chores to do. So, I rushed to find some medicine to relieve the pain Im into. And only to find out that my husband already bathed DJ downstairs. That is how thoughtful my husband is. I just love him for taking care of us.

I was exhausted yesterday and wasn't able to sleep very well. I have no idea why I got it until my husband said it was all because of carrying DJ the whole day. DJ just wouldn't sleep, so I have to carry him to let him sleep. DJ cried 3 times the whole night when we were asleep. We have no idea why until my husband woke up and let him sleep again.

I just hope and pray that he will sleep soundly tonight and the rest of the nights. It was a sleepless night for both me and my husband.

ABC's

I always wanted a nursery room for Dj. To let him be aware and familiar with ABC's and all educational stuff for babies. That's why I drew and cut some ABC's and pasted it on the wall. I want him to be familiar with the letters and numbers already at his age. I even bought a coloring book and prepared some pencils and crayons in case if hes interested already.
Eventhough my handwritings are bad, I hope he wont noticed until he grows up. I want him to be familiarized with those things already now that I know hes a bright and smart kid. I just know, I have no negative thoughts of him. Its always a positive attitude towards him. I even downloaded educational songs for him and always playing it every morning.
I also sung him ABC songs everytime I carry him. So, now I just made a nursery room for him. Just a pen and paper and its all so worth it.

Raining cats and dogs

Summer is near approaching but the rain is just terrible here. Its like summer has ended already. Come to think of it, typhoon Ondoy has just ended and now here comes another one. What happened to the sunny Cagayan de oro? Why is always raining here? Is there a typhoon we should be aware about? I hope not. I hope papa Jesus is not punishing us. Thats what I always think whenever there is a catastrophe happening. But I never lose hope.
Like what happened to Manila last year. Some areas were affected by the irremediable calamity. I think I better watch news as of now. I already missed a lot these days.

DJ's Monthly check-up

We went to our baby's monthly check-up yesterday and it went really well. Dj had his second shot, a hib shot for hepatitis. Dj didn't cried at all, he just shouted. Thats how brave my son is. He is healthy and fit according to his doctor. My husband keeps on taking pictures but the doctor didnt mind at all.

Whenever its time for check-up's I always have my list on what to ask his doctor. Like what vitamins the doctor will recommend and what vaccinations will be given. Thats how meticulous I am when it comes to my baby. I always want the best for him.

The doctor was amazed of Dj's developments. She said to take pictures on his developmantal milestones and I always have. Now, I know why mothers are so proud of their babies. And I am that mother. Its all so worth it to have a monthly check-up. Not only doctors monitor your baby's progress but also allows opportunities to have your questions and concerns addressed.

Big toy

We just bought a new walker for DJ the other day to help him develop more of his walking skills. He just loves moving around and never gets tired. The baby walker was just a lifesaver for me because now that I will no longer be afraid whenever he is playing and wander around the house.. I wont be afraid getting his head bump on the wall or even worst on the floor.

Now that he has a baby walker, he will improve his walking skills and will also strengthen his leg muscle which is important for all babies. Now every time Im doing chores, he keeps following me and just stares at what Im doing the whole time. Its like hes wondering what I am doing. He is curious in all sorts of things.

We bought a multipurpose baby walker. It will play different kinds of music every time you press every button. Music like twinkle little star, bingo and those educational music for babies.It also has a stopper which can also be a high chair for babies every time its feeding time.
We were very meticulous on what baby walker we wanted. We wanted a baby walker that is multipurpose and not just a play thing.

The baby walker is just what we always wanted. It has different kinds of colors for baby boys. We chose a baby walker that has his favorite colors like red and blue. We also bought letter stickers so that we can put his name on his walker. It is always happy days with my baby. Now that he has a big toy, I will no longer worry about his situation always.
